Tlaxcala was a pre-Colombian city state in what is now central Mexico. The city state was eventually encircled by Aztec (Mexica) territorial gains, and continually resisted incursion by the Aztecs. When the Conquistadors arrived, the Tlaxcalan people initially fought them but eventually became loyal allies.
This digital set allows for the creation of warriors of Tlaxcala, marked by their distinctive headwrap. They wear ichcahuīpīlli, which is a type of padded Armor. The fighters seen here wield a mix of bow and machahuitl.
The heron back banner, seen on one of the bodies in the main image, can be used to convert our previous Aztec Eagle warriors into Tlaxcala’s warrior elite (If also using heads from this set.)
Bodies are provided with and without puddle bases.
