The Umayyad Caliphate was the second Caliphate, succeeding the Rashidun in control of the Islamic Empire. After defeat by the Abbasid Dynasty, the survivors of the Umayyad retreated to newly won territories in Iberia and established themselves in Cordoba and claiming the title of Emir.
The “Haras”, Arabic for “The Guard” were the personal protection of the Umayyad leaders. In the 8th and 9th centuries in Cordoba these men would be equipped with Scale armored coats, Spears, shields, and helmets.
This set comes will all parts needed to recreate these warriors.
