The Thuggees (Sanskrit for “concealment”) were a gang/cult of professional assassins in India in the 13th to 19th centuries. They worshipped the goddess Kali and practiced ritualistic assassinations as part of their devotion.
This four figure multi-part set includes both traditional assassin weapons like the scarf used for strangulation along with muskets and Martini-Henry rifles. A variety of head types complete the set.
