An early multiple rocket launcher of Korean design, firing several hundred rocket-powered arrows at the foe. Hwacha were used defensively to create kill zones and repel enemy assaults. Most famously, 40 Hwacha launchers were used in the Battle of Haengju during the Japanese invasion of Korea.
